The Australian Institute for Disaster Resilience (AIDR) is introducing a scholarship program in July this year for people to study accredited vocational and higher education qualifications in emergency and disaster management disciplines. Successful applicants could receive up to $12,000 for successfully completing vocational education and training and up to $25,000 for higher education through the scholarship program.
The scholarship program is open to emergency management volunteers across Australia. People who live and volunteer outside capital cities, female volunteers and those from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
