On Sunday 18th December, Bullsbrook VFES held a ceremony to name their 12.2 bulk water appliance after Ross Bowman, a long term brigade member who sadly passed away at the beginning of the year.

Ross had been a mentor to a number of new brigade members and all who knew him learned a lot from his calm and unassuming nature.

The brigade named the 12.2 appliance “Ross” with his family in attendance, followed by a morning tea for all.

Ross will be missed, but his legacy lives on and every time the 12.2 turns out, Ross will be there in spirit.
